Carring over CPE's

Each VGI certificate holder may rollover up to 20 CPE's from the previous year’s CPE earnings if the number of earned CPE's exceeds the 40 CPE requirement.

Carryover & Rolled CPE's

Each VGI certificate holder may rollover up to 20 CPE's from the previous year’s CPE earnings if the number of earned CPE's exceeds the 40 CPE requirement. Rolled over CPE's do not count as earned CPE's with regards to calculating the next years rollover total.

Example: Professional certificate holder X earns 55 CPE's in a year. At the start of the next year, professional X will have 15 credits rolled over (To meet the following year's CPE requirements, professional X needs to complete 25 CPE credits). If professional X earned 35 credits for a total of 50 credits. At the start of following year, no credits will be rolled over since professional X did not exceed 40 earned credits in the previous year.
