Rules of Conduct

All professionals practicing under any certifications as designated herein will adhere to the following rules of conduct in all situations in which they practice their areas of expertise:

  1. Unimpeachable Character
    1. They will obey all laws of the land as regards their work and the data / information that they obtain within the practice of their professional responsibilities.
    2. They will exercise a high degree of care and responsibility in the performance of their professional responsibilities
    3. They will deal honestly and with the highest level of integrity in the performance of their professional responsibilities
    4. They will foster and exhibit ethical behavior and will do nothing to impinge upon the reputation of any organization with which they deal or are employed by in the performance of their professional responsibilities
    5. They will use all best efforts to increase the value and performance of the organization in the performance of their professional responsibilities
  2. Independence in Thought and Actions
    1. They will not act in a manner where it would be perceived that they are not independent in execution and communication within the practice of their professional responsibilities.
    2. They will not be a party to any event that would compromise their independence nor bias their judgement in the performance of their professional responsibilities
    3. They will always bring to the attention of the Board and other appropriate parties all appropriate facts and required disclosures in the performance of their professional responsibilities
    4. They will in all circumstances insure data integrity and confidentiality in the performance of their professional responsibilities
  3. Professional Competency
    1. They will not misrepresent their capabilities not undertake to perform any services that they are not capable of delivering at the required level of quality within the practice of their professional responsibilities.
    2. They will meet all of the requirements to maintain their professional competency and will seek to improve and innovate within the performance of their professional responsibilities.
  4. Non-Disclosure of Intellectual Property and Confidential / Proprietary Information
    1. They will not under any circumstances utilize any data or information that they are entrusted with within the practice of their professional responsibilities for personal gain.
    2. They will in all circumstances use due care and employ appropriate diligence in the safeguarding of any and all information that they have been entrusted with within the performance of their professional responsibilities.
